Your Pet’s Behavioral Health

MDAWA believes that resolving behavior issues is important for both homeless and owned pets. Well-behaved homeless pets are more likely to be adopted. Well-mannered owned pets have more positive relationships with their owners and are less likely to be relinquished. For this reason, many MDAWA members offer behavioral advice and classes and workshops on animal behavior for pet owners. The ASPCA Virtual Pet Behaviorist also offers numerous behavior tips.

For help with bird behavior, visit the website of The Gabriel Foundation or the Metro Denver Parrot Rescue.
