What is MDAWA?
Metro Denver Animal Welfare Alliance (MDAWA) is a coalition of 24 public and private shelters, rescue groups, and other animal service providers.
Each year, MDAWA members collectively help over 250,000 pets in the metro Denver area access vital resources such as adoption, veterinary care, and pet food.
If your organization is interested in becoming a member of MDAWA, contact us. Membership is free for qualified organizations.

How can a new member join?
There are many ways to help:
Donate cash or needed supplies to your local MDAWA member
Volunteer — most shelters and rescues rely heavily on volunteer help
Foster an animal – many shelters use foster homes to care for young or injured/ill animals prior to adoption
Participate in your workplace giving campaign
